Meet Christina

Christina Bailey calls herself a “rock ’n’ roll renaissance woman,” a loving nod to her lifelong curiosity for music, art, and philosophy.

Raised on vocal music in church, choirs, and private lessons, Christina studied choral conducting at Northern Arizona University before taking a leap into the world of songwriting and indie rock. She spent the early 2010s sharing stages with artists like The Punch Brothers, Jackie Greene, Abigail Washburn, and David Gray, honing her craft in harmony-rich band formats.

After moving from Monterey to Nashville, Christina released her first solo EP, Love and War, capturing her journey through relationships and introspection. Following the release, she faced challenges around mental health and artistic stagnancy, a journey that ultimately inspired her to launch The Creative Voice in 2019—a resource to support artists’ mental health and rekindle their creative passions.

Since then, Christina has expanded her expertise with vocal health, life coaching, and somatic certifications, bringing a holistic approach to her work. Returning to California reignited her love for choral music, and she’s now an active arts advocate, collaborating with local choirs to produce unique, community-centered performances.

In 2024, Christina completed the first season of Baroque & Unknown, an immersive series she founded, celebrating eight forgotten Baroque women composers. Supported by the Arts Council of Monterey County, the series combined music education, food pairings, guest lectures, and live performances.

In 2025, Baroque & Unknown will reach a wider audience as a web series and podcast, inviting women of all ages to reclaim their voices in music.

Christina’s mission is simple: to help artists love their voices, inside and out.
